Yesterday we paddled 38.41 miles from the north end of Cayuga Lake to Stewart Park on the south shore. Undaunted by strong head winds, storms, curious boaters or a dwindling supply of chocolate cake we soldiered on. Here is but a tiny excerpt of our journey, starting from shore at Cayuga Lake State Park and covering our run with the wind to the railroad trestle, a quick turn, and then the start of a five hour upwind run.
